On this page you can find the practical information for this virtual side event on &#8216;2 with 8&#8217; as part of the UN Water conference in March 2023. The event took place on Tuesday March 21st at 09.00 EST.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Introduction<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This event showed failures and success with Household Water Treatment and Safe Storage (HWTS) and share decades of experience that can help to provide safe water for 2 billion people with a market based approach at a 1 time grant of $4 \/ person. The event brought together stakeholders from the private sector, NGO and the regulatory sector to share experiences. The event builds on the &#8216;2 with 8&#8217;-initiative launched at the 2022 Stockholm World Water Week.
