Advantages compared to Rope Pumps<\/strong><\/h3>\n

  • – 30 to 40% more pump volume with\u00a0the same lifting height (legs have\u00a0more power than an arm)<\/li>\n
  • – Easier to install and repair<\/li>\n
  • – The pressure model\u00a0 can lift water to\u00a0an elevated tank or can be used for\u00a0\u00a0sprinkler irrigation<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Disadvantages compared to Rope Pumps<\/strong><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • – Is a suction pump so can only lift\u00a0water from maximum 7 meters deep<\/li>\n
    • – Some people prefer a turning\u00a0movement for pumping to an a up\u00a0and down movement<\/li>\n
    • – Pedalling with legs is not fit for\u00a0women in some cultures.<\/li>\n
    • – More complicated to produce<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
